If you are interested in healing you might either have a condition or conditions or perhaps you are learning or practicing the healing arts. Healing In The Least Invasive Way, is one of the top priorities. Healing With The Brain Is Healing In One Of The Least Invasive Ways.
As surprising as it might seem, the brain is not always aware of everything that is taking place or that might have taken place to the body or within the body. In terms of health, that matters, and is factor to both consider and work on. Toxins for example can short circuit the pathways that allows the brain to both know about and deal with the offending EXTRA toxins in ones system. Microbes are definitely evolved enough to be able to insulate their activities from the brain also. The combination of the two is even a more effective means to block the brain from being in touch with everything that is need to heal some conditions. This is sometimes why so many conditions require outside intervention in order for healing to occur. But, what if instead we got the brain in touch with the condition so the brain could do it's magic?
One of the healing process that VitalBodies pioneered and developed along the way, is getting the brain in touch with the condition so it can help heal the body as a whole along in addition to the condition. When any organic, system, process or part of the body is blocked from the brain, the whole body is thrown off balance to one degree or another. Energy flow to the area that the condition is in is another very big factor and we have been pioneering along that trail also.
"You might assume that the brain would know about any condition you have, but the fact is, that the brain might not know. Toxins, injury, trauma or microbes can prevent the brain from being fully informed."
Although there are many ways to get in touch with anything perceivable, the place we suggest to begin, is getting in touch with the sensations otherwise known as the symptoms. Ideally you want to sense/feel them and not block them out in any way. You want your brain, energy and nervous system to be in touch with any bodily issues you might have, including the condition your concerned with. If you have any form of pain or discomfort, that might seem counter intuitive, in world where blocking out, numbing or "controlling" the pain is prescribed. But consider your other option, to get fully in touch with the condition so your brain, energy and body can respond to the condition in the fullest way they can.
Start with getting ready to lay down and fully relax. Remove any potential distractions and any restrictive clothing. You want to be "perfectly relaxed" with nothing to distract you from getting fully in touch with the condition or conditions at hand. Consider laying down on your back with your legs and arms fairly straight yet in a comfortable position or assume whatever position works the best for your situation. Take any clothing off the area, if they are distracting if you did not already. You might want to be under the covers if you need to stay warm and you have covers are available. Ultimately, you want to be "perfectly relaxed" (as much as possible in your situation or the situation that you can achieve) yet awake and comfortable. Breathe and feel/sense...
Close your eyes and put your full attention on the condition or area. Tell your body, you are here to help, listen and act. Rest your attention on the condition or area.
When you feel relaxed, yet alert, and in touch and focused:
Begin to slowly massage the area with gentle strokes that are circular, 2" or so in diameter.
You can massage the area with your hands or your perception/attention.
Take your time and stroke very gently, more to feel with your body or attention than to massage.
Feel any pain of discomfort, but do not create pain or discomfort.
Move the circles around the area in a spiral so that you feel the area, and all around the area. Nothing technical, just feel all around. Feel/sense deep, feel shallow, feel all you can feel.
Allow yourself to get in touch and really feel in a sustained way. As you "massage to feel" try to learn what creates relaxation (sleep) vs relaxation (healing) and what creates pain or tightening. The goal is healing, which often comes in the form of a release, or a greater flow of energy or both.
You want to LEARN/feel what your bodies knows and feels. As you learn, you can slowly press and massage a bit harder. Not to create pain but to create flow.
You may or may not know if you have succeeded in heal the condition, at the time of the massage. It might take a few rounds. No rush, let your body guide you. Do this a few rounds and see what you notice. If you are successful, try the exercise again for further healing.
By getting in touch and using touch, you will allow your brain to get more in touch also. Your brain getting in touch helps and matters. You are using your skills to help the brain get in touch.
1Shift your perception in ways that will allow your brain to get in touch with the condition...
2Consider what foods, herbs or exercises would help your brain get in touch...
3Use touch to get in touch...
4Use each and every sense to get in touch...
5Being in touch with the condition is the foundation for the healing steps that follow, like restoring the energy flow, the three healers and relativity...
